It works on a very basic principle. First ambient room air is sucked through a preliminary filter to capture larger particles to extend the lifespan of the secondary HEPA filter. The air is then blowed towards the HEPA Filter through Fans. Later HEPA Filter generates a smooth stream of clean air projected vertically across the desired workspace. The downward airflow from the ceiling laminar airflow unit clears out and weakens all impurities, contamination and creates a workspace free of particles for improved sterile operations and processes.
The entire system is mounted/hanged from the ceiling like a fan, Thus this particular system is know as Ceiling Suspended Laminar Air Flow System.
